Directions by public transport from Lucerne Main Station
Bus number 6 direction Matthof, bus number 7 direction Biregghof or bus number 8 direction Hirtenhof, until stop Weinbergli. To get to the Kunsthalle, cross the road and take the first turn right. The Kunsthalle is situated opposite the VBL bus depot.

Directions by foot from Lucerne Main Station
The Kunsthalle can be reached in about ten minutes by foot from the Main Station. The footpath follows the Lake of Lucerne, across the Inselquai behind the Culture- and Congresscentre KKL, over a pedestrian bridge, and across a park next to the lake. At the end of the park follow the road and take a turn to the right in front of the school building. Finally follow the road until the VBL bus depot.

Directions by car from Lucerne Main Station
Turn into the Zentralstrasse. At the roundabout on Bundesplatz take the exit Tribschenstrasse. Drive along this road over the bridge and finally, after about 400 m, take a left turn into the street between the Frigorexhalle and the VBL bus depot.

Directions by car from the motorway A2 gateway
Lucerne-Centre (direction north)
After the gateway follow the road Hirschengraben. At the Pilatusplatz turn into the Obergrundstrasse, thereafter do a left into the Moosstrasse and at the roundabout on Bundesplatz take the Tribschenstrasse. Continue as described above.

Directions by car from the motorway A2 gateway
Lucerne-Kriens (direction south)
After the gateway drive in direction of City/Lake. Follow the Obergrundstrasse and turn into the Moosstrasse on your right. Continue as described above.

Parking facilities
Behind the Kunsthalle there are some parking spaces at your free disposal. Furthermore there is located a parking block at the Main Station as well as in the Swiss Life Arena (approximately 300m suceeding the Tribschenstrasse. Rate: sFr. 1.50 per hour).
